It’s a big one!
Yep….I’ve been putting this one off for a while…only because I’m looking forward to it so much. Building up the excitement for myself really. But next Sunday we’ll be looking at one of the groundbreaking hip-hop albums; the 1989 debut by De La Soul “3 Feet High and Rising”.
I’ve always maintained that the late 80’s was the best years for rap and hip-hop. Not only did it see the emergence of De La Soul but the ’88 release of ‘Straight Outta Compton’ by NWA and one of my all-time favorite albums in the form of ‘Paul’s Boutique’ by the Beastie Boys which hit the stores a couple of months after De La Soul’s debut. Good times indeed!
So tune in next Sunday night at midnight to hear a great great show! (promise)
